RAMADAN 2020

This beautiful story was developed by a local Agency in Dubai called “Abjad Design” whereupon pieces of paper would develop into paper horses through the light of the moon and journey thourgh a magical forest. This story was developed for the animation of Ramdan in Hermes communication. At MB we developed this graphic style and story into windows where the light of the moonlight would transform the horse into objects when needed to cross water and reveal the objects hidden in the forest for the horse passing by.

This particular project stemed from my client’s idea. He had sketched a layered multiverse where he imagined the Hermès objects float playing a part in the decor. The idea was really beautiful but unfortunately the lightboxes at the back of the big windows over-exposed the window and the graphic work was a little lost. The design was more visible on the showcases. This is the perfect example of a project that takes a lot of craft in production to make it wow.

This lovely entrepreneur in Dubai created a Vegan brand, selling bites of goodness, and asked if I could create some characters for her upcoming Kid bars. We developed 3 characters for which the style was based on small children’s stickers in French called «Gomettes».
My idea was that she could include some «Gomettes» in the packs, for kids to recreate the characters.

Perfume Launch of Twilly Poivré Middle East

Twilly Poivré was another twist to the young and fresh Twilly and the pepper notes brought a little spice to our storytelling. Our young women had a wild side.
In these scenes we would reveal a space lit by a projector. Under the spotlight was a transformation. Visually translating the effect the scent would create when the Twilly Poivré walked in the room.

When Emaar launched their unique perfume multibrand store in the premium extended section of The Dubai Mall, they asked that we create a teaser space inside an empty shop unit in order to discover 4 olfactory worlds where they would expose a collection belonging to each scent. We created this space with magic mirrors on the wall that would reval the collections once the customers had the raw ingredient olfactory experience.

“TWILLY PERFUME “

TWILLY PERFUME LAUNCH 2018 MIDDLE EAST

Twilly was the first perfume the brand launched aimed at the younger generation and it had a strong connection to Paris which we thought was important to highlight in the Middle East. The monochrome pastel colours cover the most familiar places in the city and a twilly ribbon representing the young spirit is intertwined over the objects of the decor like an urban jungle.

These designs were the first we had ever proposed to the brand, telling a story of objects through styles.
the division of the era was made right in between the sets creating a fun leap from one decor to the next.
From 16th century farmhouse to a 50’s kitchen, a baroque to neo classic livingroom. A mediterenean to tropical bedroom and a 70’s to victorian cottage bathroom

COLOURS OF AFGHANISTAN

The design of 2 small pavillions to exhibit produce from Afghanistan in order to promote their beautiful crafts. We were very pleased with the end product as budget restrictions did not make it easy.
