Hermes Perfume Store

For this year’s Terre d’Hermès Intense windows, we explore the contrast between vast landscapes and intimate spaces, inviting the Hermès man on a journey both outward and inward.

Window 1: The Desert & Shadow Illusion of rocks
A boundless desert, sculpted by wind and time. Soft dunes cast deep shadows that transform into bold rock formations in a striking trompe-l’œil, blurring the line between illusion and reality. Footprints in the sand hint at a journey unfolding.

Window 2: Inside the Rock Formation
Stepping within, we enter a raw yet refined sanctuary. Warm, golden light glows from the depths of the rock, revealing a space where power and stillness coexist.

Ramadan 2025

This year’s theme was “Draft to Craft” and what a better way to share designs a little more oriented to a personal craft of mine: Illustration. That mixed with my favourite subjet of Theatre I was asked to create the Ramadan scene.

Unzipping the Faubourg

Still in the 2024 theme of “La magie du Faubourg” we imaged the greatest secret party in the house. We’ll let you see what this looks like for yourselves.

Threads of Time 2024

Hermès

La Magie du Faubourg 2024 invites us into the attic of Hermès, where forgotten objects from the maison’s rich history come to life through enchantment. Hidden beneath the wooden plinths lies a special Faubourg projector, casting a film made from reels of Hermès silk. On the opposite side, a series of silk-covered frames are tucked between sheets, awaiting their moment. Here, the Maison du Faubourg becomes an electric generator, sending a current of energy that animates the installation — a stream of moving LED light that travels across the frames, breathing life into each scene as if the silk itself were alive.

RAMADAN FAUBOURG 2024

HERMÈS LA MAGIE DU FAUBOURG

Using the architectural technique used by Escher, we explored the outdoor façade optical illusion where our ribbon (like a light trail) is spotted entering and exiting the windows distributing the Hermes objects amongst neighbours. The light inside the windows emanate a warm desert hue.

Remaining in the topsy-turvy surreal architectural composition, a magic ribbon flies across the citadel/ entering and exiting people’s homes. The symbol of generosity throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The objects fly between each family.

RAMADAN 2023

LET US BE ASTONISHED BY THE LIGHT IN OUR SECRET PLACE

Inspired by the work of Tatsuya Tanaka, particularly the Japanese pavillion in the Universal expo in Dubai, his work makes us reimagine the world by revisiting the scales of objects and giving them a whole new existence.

There is something very astonishing to find many small things happening in a bigger picture so we imagined secret realms in revised lanterns that would become like cities.
